A writer and sugarmaker, I live with my two daughters in Woodbury, Vermont. Among many other things, I work at KidsVT in Burlington, Vermont, garden in the few possible Vermont months, and manage to read a few books, too.

My novel, Hidden View, a gritty story woven with family, farming, and the desire for redemption, was published by Green Writers Press in the fall of 2015.

Hello, Brett Ann! I am so happy that you found my blog, and to have found your blog in return. I must admit, I’m something of a fan, having read your pieces in Taproot magazine (a friend lent me her back issues #1-16 this fall, and I read them all straight through, one after another!) I am also excited to see that you have a book published, which I am hoping our local bookstore will have in stock. Always nice to meet another Vermont writer/woman/mother, no matter how virtually!

  2. The internet, despite many flaws, really does have its plusses at times – especially in rural Vermont. It’s really nice to hear you read my writing in Taproot. I look forward to reading more of your adventures!
